Jake Kiser started in the paint and remodeling industry when he was 13 years old and was able to work his way through high school and college. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Jake realized he did not want to work in his field of choice. He loved the outdoors and open spaces and did not want to be confined to an office or lab. The paint industry has allowed him the time to hike the mountains with his wife and dog while enjoying the outdoors.
Jake went to work for Duron Paints, who was later bought out by Sherwin Williams. Working as a sales representative for these paint manufactures, he saw that there was a real need for a professional paint company, focusing on the residential and commercial repaint market. Jake felt he could deliver this service to the Athens and the surrounding areas.
Jake Kiser started CertaPro Painters in 2005 with the vision of delivering extraordinary experiences to their customers. That vision has grown to serving others; whether it is their customers, staff, painters, or community. Jake is proud of the work they’ve done, finding joy in serving the same customers year after year. He always enjoys watching their painters and staff develop. Many have been a part of the company vision for a decade or longer. Jake has found it inspiring to work with people committed to exceptional customer service.
