Matt Woods was raised in Brimfield, Ohio. He began painting at 18 years old for his cousin’s company and graduated from the University of Akron in 2014. After college, Matt worked in restaurant management and sales for several years. Deciding it was time to spend more time focusing on his family, Matt moved back into the painting world, operating the painting portion of his brother’s construction company, where he fine-tuned his abilities to become a highly skilled professional.

Matt joined CertaPro Painters of Akron in January 2022 as their Residential Sales Consultant and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He is excited to bring his painting knowledge, as well as his impeccable customer service and consulting skills to you!

Matt lives in Stow, OH with his wife, Kim, their three children, two dogs and a cat. He enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with his family. As season pass holders at Cedar Point, that’s where you’ll typically find them during the summer. There are times when Matt is working, and his family goes without him. All. The. Time.
