Stucco exteriors are very common in our service area, our team is experienced with patching and repair for damaged stucco. Stucco repair is often a preparation step for exterior painting projects, however we do also offer stand-alone stucco repairs as a service to customers in our service area. Stucco should be repaired if there are any cracks larger than 1/8″, or if bulges or chalking is present on the surface.
Most commonly stucco gets damaged from exposure to water, usually from failing or clogged drainage systems or lawn sprinkler systems. Stucco also can be damaged from impact, earthquakes, or from time and extended exposure to the sun. Keeping stucco painted once every 5-8 years is recommended for homes in the area.
