In March 2024, CertaPro Painters undertook a 10-day commercial painting project at a 14,000-square-foot multi-use industrial warehouse located in Cheektowaga, NY, just outside Buffalo. The facility was in significant disrepair at the start of the project, with surfaces covered in grime and graffiti.
The client was on a tight timeline, as a new tenant was scheduled to occupy the space within the month. They needed a fast turnaround that didn’t sacrifice quality, as well as a finish that would brighten the warehouse and stand up to heavy use.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
CertaPro recommended and applied a durable, high-gloss, white epoxy-based wall paint, chosen for its washability and long-term durability in an industrial environment.
The scope of work included thorough pressure washing to remove dirt and graffiti, extensive caulking to seal gaps, and precise masking to protect areas not being painted. The team used spray application with back-rolling techniques to ensure an even, lasting finish.
CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS:
The significant grime and graffiti on the walls combined with bitterly cold conditions presented several logistical challenges that required efficient planning and execution. Scissor lifts were also required to safely access and complete the higher wall sections. Thanks to careful coordination and expertise, CertaPro successfully met the deadline, delivering a clean, bright, and refreshed space ready for its new tenants.
