Knollwood Baptist Church Exterior Painting Project

Project: CertaPro Painters® of Winston-Salem completed an exterior repaint of Knollwood Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC in July 2025. The building’s existing paint was peeling and faded, so our team washed the entire exterior, painted all siding and metal doors and frames, and recaulked the roofline soffits. The project was completed in just three days with the help of tall ladders and a 32-foot ladder for hard-to-reach areas.

Process: Before painting could begin, the exterior surfaces were thoroughly washed to remove dirt, peeling paint, and other debris. This preparation ensured strong adhesion for a smooth, lasting finish. We addressed details along the roofline, recaulk­ing soffits to protect against moisture intrusion and improve the overall durability of the work.

Given the height of certain areas, tall ladder work and a 32-foot ladder were required for safe and precise access. Once prepared, the siding, doors, and frames were painted, restoring the church’s exterior to a clean, vibrant look.

The entire project was completed in only three days, minimizing disruption while delivering a polished and durable exterior update.
