Winner Announced for Battle of the Community Theatre Stars

CertaPro Painters® of Winston-Salem would like to extend a big congratulations to Sarah Jenkins—and to Spirit Gum Theatre Company—for being crowned the winner of the “Battle of the Community Theatre Stars.”

Matthew Cravey started hosting this regional online theater trivia game show featuring contestants from local theater groups at the start of quarantine since they were unable to put on live performances and plays. People were able to watch the contest go down on the participating theatre’s Facebook pages. Since everyone was remote, organizers and players used costumes, photos, graphics, and music to entertain the viewers.

In support of our local theater community, we partnered with CertaPro Painters® of Greensboro, NC, to sponsor the semifinal and championship rounds of “Battle of the Community Theatre Stars.” Sarah was awarded $300 thanks to our sponsorship.
