Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Exterior Painting Project
Project:In July 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Winston-Salem refreshed the exterior of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School in Kernersville, NC. The building showed visible signs of wear, including water stains, mildew, and fading stucco. The project required detailed preparation and the use of a 65-foot boom lift to access the tall stairwell tower and maneuver through tight areas in the courtyard. Our team primed and painted all exterior stucco surfaces and metal doors, completing the transformation in just seven days.
Process: At the start of the project, the school’s exterior showed clear signs of aging, with discoloration, water stains, and mildew impacting its appearance. Our crew performed extensive cleaning and surface preparation to remove the damage and properly ready the stucco for a durable, long-lasting finish.
Because of the building’s height and layout, we used a 65-foot boom lift to safely reach the stairwell tower and maneuver through narrow courtyard areas. Once the preparation was complete, the team applied primer and a fresh coat of paint to the stucco, followed by refinishing all exterior metal doors for a uniform, updated look.
The entire process was completed in just seven days, delivering a clean, refreshed exterior that restored the building’s curb appeal while minimizing disruption to the campus.
Client Testimonial: “We have used CertaPro Painters of Winston-Salem for our summer uplift and refresh projects for the past three years. Our projects are always on time, with good communication from estimate through completion, and reasonably priced. Never disappoints.”
