In November 2019, CertaPro Painters® of Washington, DC was contacted to assist in the renovation of the a foreign embassy building in Washington D.C. The assignment consisted of three separate projects in the building, including the garage and office areas. Coordination was paramount as the CertaPro team needed to mitigate the disruption of an active embassy. Proper planning with other renovation teams was also incredibly important so that tasks would be free of congested work areas, providing the opportunity for efficient completion rates. CertaPro Painters® has experience with large scale projects and their high standards culminate in an appealing finish even for the most important work spaces.
PROJECT 1: REFINISHED GARAGE
The garage received a full renovation as the walls, ceiling, conduit, and doors were washed and painted. The floor was also cleaned before the application of a high gloss epoxy system that enhanced and protected it from future use. Yellow parking lines were added and curbs were painted yellow in accordance to safety measures.
PROJECT 2: WALLPAPER REPLACEMENT
CertaPro’s team removed the existing wallpaper from the corridors, prepared the walls, and applied a fresh set of wallpaper. Their professionals navigated the changing landscape that was presented by Covid-19, satisfying the safety requirements in the embassy while completing the project. This particular task required three week’s time to finalize.
PROJECT 3: STAIR REPAIR
The stairs also received proper attention from the CertaPro team. The walls and steps were cleaned and refinished for a brand new appeal. CertaPro Painters® of Washington, DC remained fully focused on details of varying importance so those in the embassy were satisfied with the all encompassing remodel efforts.
