Reaching 100 feet in height, stands a dated Multi-family apartment building in the need of an exterior paint repair. Our professional painters were hired on to revitalize an apartment in Logan Circle, DC. The exterior paint was cracked and peeling away from the walls, in need of our services. Our professional painters immediately got to work with coordinating with a permit expeditor to close down the parking lane, so we could bring in our commercial lift. With the permit permission only allowing for 1 day we had to work fast, but efficiently to remove peeled paint, apply spot primer, and refresh the paint, all in the same day.
With our robust efforts we were able to accomplish the project within the deadline, and provide successful results for our client.
CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:Large commercial projects provide their own set of challenges. For this project, our CertaPro Painters had to coordinate with a permit expeditor to close down a park lane near a 1-way road, to provide use amble room to bring in our commercial lift. However, the permit was only active for 1 day, so we were under a tight schedule.
CONDITIONS:
- Cleaning – This building was a little outdated, and the paint was peeling, so we had to clean the surface.
- Surface Defects – Paint cracked and peeled.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Paint Repair – Scrapped old, peeling paint off.
- Prep – Cleaned the surface and added spot primer.
- Exterior Paint – Refreshed the old paint.
