CertaPro Painters of Toms River, NJ is looking to hire a friendly, succes-driven, team-oriented Residential Sales Associate. Our ideal candidate is one who is focused, self-motivated, and has excellent listening skills to deliver an extraordinary customer experience. The Residential Sales Associate takes a consultative approach to determine the customers’ needs as well as the scope of work. This person will have strong priority management and practice diligent follow up to successfully close sales.

What we're looking for

Fulfill the obligations of the essential functions: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Estimating, Follow Up, Production, Networking, Priority Management, and Seeing the Project through to Completion
Service all prospective customers with the objective of meeting their painting needs and building customers for life
Ensure that all field marketing programs are being executed
Follow up with customer until the sale is closed
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communications from beginning to end of the project
Work closely with paint crews to ensure a high-quality experience

General Job Responsibilities and Required Skills
  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Unrestricted driver’s license with clean driving record and insurance
  • Previous service business experience
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • History of accomplishments and promotions
  • Excellent verbal/written skills including proof-reading and basic math skills
  • Great communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Goal oriented, organized and energetic
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
