Fence Painting Project in Porter Ranch, CA

In the foothills of Porter Ranch, there are several private, gated communities. Most use wrought iron fences/gates to keep their developments secure. Like any other painted surface, these fences need to be maintained. CertaPro of Thousand Oaks is no stranger to this kind of project. Check out our recent iron fence painting project below.

About the Project

The Bella Vista development in Porter Ranch recently retained our services to prep and paint wrought iron fences along their equestrian trail. Much prep was needed on the fences, as the previous painters simply used cans of spray paint to ‘touch up’ problem areas. With no prep and improper paint, many of these areas failed prematurely.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:

To ensure a quality, long-lasting finish, CertaPro sanded all problem areas along the nearly 3,000 feet of fencing, and applied a direct-to-metal primer to the affected areas. Once the surfaces were clean and dry, CertaPro used Dunn Edwards EnduraCoat paint to provide a high-quality bond and finish, which will minimize future maintenance costs.

We chose this product not only for its durability, but also that it comes from the factory pre-tinted in black color, which ensures a consistent color throughout the project.

 PROJECT TIMELINE
