Our painting team was recently called out to a local business for an exterior painting service. The business was a local Homeowners Association. The requested painting project was to prep and paint two sets of vehicle gates, as well as two pedestrian gates. You can check out our beautiful results below.
About the Project
Condition:
Gates were in fair condition, having never been repainted since the community was built about 10 years ago. The paint was beginning to fail, as evidenced by peeling / chipping paint.
Project Involvement:
The project involved sanding/scraping all failing areas, application of a red oxide primer to the affected areas (this inhibits rust ), then 2 coats of Dunn Edwards Aristoshield were applied to all painted surfaces.
Special Challenges:
As this is an active community, crew took special precautions to block off the gates while working on them. One gate was function at all times, to allow traffic access in and out of the property.
Project Timeline:
We completed this exterior painting service in just two days.
