Apache Wells Community Center Exterior Painting Project
In May 2024, our team had the pleasure of undertaking a comprehensive exterior painting project for the Apache Wells Community in Mesa, AZ. This project involved the refurbishment and painting of various community structures to enhance their appearance and durability. The Community Center, Woodshop, Maintenance Building, baseball field scoreboards, signage and more were painted with Sherwin Williams products.
- Sherwin Williams Super Paint was utilized for wood and masonry surfaces, providing excellent coverage and durability.
- Sherwin Williams DTM Paint was applied on all gates, railings, and utility boxes to offer protection for the metal surfaces.
Challenges, Resolutions & Results
During the project, we encountered several existing issues that needed addressing:
- Cracking Stucco: Repaired the cracks and ensured a smooth surface before painting.
- Peeling Paint: Removed old, peeling paint to create a stable base for the new coats.
- Efflorescence: Treated and eliminated efflorescence to prevent future surface issues.
The Apache Wells Community Center was highly satisfied with our work, resulting in plans for additional painting projects in the future. The entire project was completed in just over one week. This quick turnaround was achieved through meticulous planning and a dedicated team of professionals.
