To help you feel fully prepared, here’s everything you need to know, from what you can do before we arrive to what our painting process looks like step by step.
How to Prep Your Home Before Painting Day:
Remove wall décor: Take down pictures, mirrors, and hanging items to keep them safe and out of the way.
Move or cover furniture: Move smaller items out of the room if possible. Our team will help shift larger pieces to the center and protect them with plastic coverings.
Remove window treatments: Take down curtains, blinds, or drapes so we can easily access windows and trim.
Share special requests: Let us know about any areas that need special attention—like wall damage, tough stains, or specific trim work so we can come prepared.
Here’s What You Can Expect from Our 5-Step Interior Painting Process:
1. Set Up
We begin by carefully placing your furniture and décor in the center of the room, then cover everything with fresh, clean plastic sheeting. Drop cloths are used to protect your floors.
2. Prep
Our crew patches any holes or cracks, sands surfaces as needed to ensure a smooth, professional finish. We’ll also clean surfaces, removing any stains or scuffs to ensure that the paint adheres smoothly.
3. Paint
Once prep work is complete and repairs are primed, we apply premium-quality paint for a uniform, lasting result.
4. Clean
We don’t leave a mess behind. Our team will remove all materials, vacuum and sweep floors, and move everything back to its original place.
5. Inspect
Your Job Site Supervisor will walk you through the completed space to ensure everything meets your expectations and to answer any questions.
