High-end Community Painters

Conditions:

The iron had not been painted in many years. There was hard fading, rusting, and chipping on the iron. The addition of an industrial-grade semi-gloss
paint brought the gates up to standard.

Challenges:

The community vehicle gates were left open during the project. All stone columns were masked prior to painting to reduce the chances of overspray. The crew handled traffic coming through the gates. Tarps were laid on the entrance deck under the gates to reduce overspray.

Project Involvement:

This project involved sanding, cleaning, spot priming, and painting the iron. There were caps and decorative iron that were rusting. In some areas, surface rust was sanded and cleaned. Any bare metal was spot primed prior to painting by CertaPro’s experienced commercial painters.
