In September 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Schaumburg, IL completed a three-day exterior refresh for a home in Bartlett, Illinois. When our team first arrived, the property’s exterior appeared dull and weathered, lacking the luster that makes a home stand out. To restore its curb appeal and long-term protection, we carried out a full surface preparation and repaint.
The final result featured a refined, modern palette. The clean, coordinated colors gave the home a crisp, contemporary appearance while ensuring durable protection against the elements.

Scope of the Work:
The crew began by power washing all exterior surfaces to remove dirt, mildew, and chalking, followed by light scraping of any loose or peeling paint.
Gaps in the woodwork were re-caulked to ensure a smooth, weather-tight finish. For a fresh new look, two coats of premium coatings were applied across the soffits, trim, fascia, door frames, porch posts, and ceiling. Downspouts were carefully removed and reinstalled so that the trim and siding behind them could be painted properly without cutting corners.
The paint colors used included Monorail Silver in a satin sheen for soffits, trim, door frames, fascia, and the porch ceiling, complemented by Riverwood in a semi-transparent finish for the porch posts.
