George Ward Pool in Saskatoon Commercial Painting Project

The previous Coating was Bondex which does not hold up well during our winter months. The coating was failing throughout and the pool needed to be grinded and acid etched to allow the paint to bond to the surface of the pool for the 2021 season. The project involved grinding, acid etching, and the application of two coats of Ramuc Ultra Pro 2000 on the pool surface, as well as snapping the depth lines for the pools.

Challenges: Due to the weather, and the tight timeline we were required to work longer hours, and fully brush and roll the coating on the pool surface. The pool required a special acid etch to enable the proper bond required for the Ramuc Ultra Pro 2000.

Time frame:

June 2021, two weeks.
