Cookout Case Study – Exterior Painting Project

Our painting team was tasked to update the exteriors of multiple cookout franchises. Locations included Conover, Greensboro, Greenville, and North Tryon. This project encompassed several weeks of working with the Cookout project management team in coordination with the appropriate company colors that were going to be used in the project. In addition, we were also tasked with updating exterior commercial garbage bins, garbage gates, traffic poles, and Cookout signs.

Challenges and Conditions of the Project

Condition:

They wanted a color update for some franchises, and to paint over rusted, peeling surfaces on the exterior lot space items around the Cookouts.

Project Involvement:

We needed to sand, prime, and paint the exterior of multiple surfaces in each restaurant space. Each restaurant had a different layout, and we had to paint using the required company colors.

Special Challenges:

Like most restaurant spaces, the biggest challenge is finding an appropriate time to paint without disturbing the operation of the business. Most of our painting was done before the restaurant opened.

Special Equipment:

Ladders —needed to reach roofs.
