Apartment Property Renovation
Our professional painters had the opportunity to work on 8 apartment buildings, each reaching 4 or 5 stories tall. Along with some other additional structures, our team had to repaint the entire exterior of these buildings with a color change provided by an elaborate mockup. We also had to make some light carpentry repairs, including caulking, replacing panels, door frames, and trim. Like most high occupancy jobs, this job required special equipment and dumpsters to prep our area for this project.
As a result of the repair work and color change, we transformed an apartment property from outdated colors to a modern scheme, giving these buildings a beautiful, new look.
CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:Large commercial projects provide their own set of challenges. For this project, our CertaPro Painters® coordinated with both the Property Management team and residents in order to not disrupt their daily activities while working with repainting and repairing the facilities.
CONDITIONS:
- Light Carpentry – surface damage and cracks along the wooden areas.
- Replacing Parts – Panels, door frames, trims, and window replacement.
- Paint – Outdated, faded paint color.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Lift Equipment – We brought in lifts (80 ft. and 60 ft.), Dumpsters, Storage containers, and 60 ft. ladders,
- Caulking – We had to caulk some surfaces to repair wooden damage.
- Coordination – Coordination with management and residents in order to work on public areas, such as doors, balconies, and parking spaces
