Carlisle’s Pizza Tavern Commercial Painting Project

After testing the building, lead was discovered on almost every surface. The building also had a lot of failing paint that was peeling and flaking. In October of 2020, CertaPro Painters of Roswell was commissioned to remediate the lead on the building’s exterior and ensure that EPA Lead Safety regulations were followed. The commercial painting team also replaced two windows and two doors in addition to repainting the entire structure. This project took place in Roswell, 30075.

From start to finish, this project took our team 6 days. There were challenges associated with our requirement to set up containment areas around any surface that we were performing lead remediation. The entire building was barricaded with hazard tape and ‘Do Not Enter’ signs. Special care was taken to maintain the safety of the painters while working on the job by wearing hazmat suits, respirators, and other protective gear.
