We all know that the kitchen is viewed as the “heart of the home”, therefore we need to ensure it looks and feels that way. That starts by transforming your cabinets with a fresh new look. However, there are other cabinets around the home as well that may need updating. Have you looked at your bathroom cabinets lately? Sometimes it can be the bathroom cabinets that experience the most wear & tear and could benefit from TLC.
There are so many ways you can transform the space with a fresh coat of paint. The simplest is to refresh the color to something more modern. We have also seen some homeowners add a new bold color to their kitchen islands to make them “pop” as the centerpiece of the kitchen. We have also seen them use two different colors, a lighter color for the top cabinets and a darker, bold color for the bottom cabinets.
Want to know more about the cabinet painting process? It’s relatively straightforward, however, it does require that all of the cabinets be emptied out prior to our arrival. Once our professional painting crew arrives, they will begin by prepping the space and creating a “spray booth.” Then they will remove all cabinet doors and begin sanding to ensure a smooth surface that is ready for painting. Our team always starts with a primer that the new topcoat can adhere to. Once the doors are ready and prepped, the painting will begin.
The duration of the project will largely depend on the number of cabinets and their current condition. but a typical average kitchen cabinet painting project will take us two and three days to complete.
