Room Color Combos for Teenage Girls Rooms
Posted on March 30, 2020
If your daughters’ room hasn’t transitioned well into her teenage years and he keeps nagging you to get the bunnies off of her walls, this is for you. These color combos will make both you and her happy and she will feel like she has a space that suits her which is important. Here are some of the best color combos for teenage girls’ rooms.
Turquoise and White
Turquoise is still fun while not being too childish. Adding white bedding and décor is a great way to balance out the loudness of the turquoise.
Lavender and Gray
Lavender is so great because it is relaxing and calm while still adding the pop of color. Nothing goes better with lavender than gray. Adding gray bedding with cream accents will make a stunning room.
Neutrals and Bright Colors
If your child wants a bold bright color but you can’t bring yourself to paint the entire room that color because you know they will grow out of it in a few years, here is the option for you. Paint the walls neutral and then let them go crazy with color in the décor and bedding. It’s a lot cheaper to swap out the bedding than it is to keep re-painting a room.
Coral and Cream
Coral is actually coming back into style for 2020 and is a great fun shade for a teenager. Adding in cream bedding and accents really helps tone down the coral and make it a cozy atmosphere.
Soft Pink and Cream/White
If you are going to go with a pink shade you want it to be very muted and soft. Add white bedding with cream blankets. This will be every teenage girl’s dream room.
Powder Blue and Navy Blue
Powder blue is such a calm and peaceful color that works well at any age really. Add contrast by adding navy blue bedding and décor.
Mint Green and White
This is a fun pop of color that isn’t too over the top. When paired with whites and neutrals it looks very sophisticated and classy.
