Wood Siding Painting Project in Renton, WA

CertaPro Painters® of Renton Kent, WA had the opportunity to paint this home with a full exterior paint coverage. When we arrived at this home, it showed signs of age with weathered paint, which required the removal of all the peeling paint before we began painting. After we peeled the paint and replaced some of the fascia board, an application of bonding primer was applied to stabilize the surface. We were able to completely transform the home in just 4 days. Project Involvement:

The project required us to replace the fascia board, due to rotted wood. With the longevity of the house, the exterior began to show weathered paint peeling from the wood siding. We had to remove all peeling paint to create a new, smooth surface to apply primer and paint.

Special Challenges:

There were areas of significant weathering. We were able to repair badly weathered areas of the home by removing loose paint, caulking gaps and cracks in the wood siding, applying a peel bonding primer to stabilize the surfaces, and applying a new coat of paint side of the home to improve the uniformity and texture of the finished look.
