Our painters were called out to this lovely home in Renton for a full exterior painting service. When we arrived at the home, it was weathered and had areas of cracked and peeling paint due to sun/weather exposure exposing the home to accelerated deterioration due to water intrusion. We were able to completely transform the home in just 3 days. You can learn more details about this project below.
Project Involvement:
The project required us to wash the surface, complete some minor cosmetic repairs, scrape and prime areas of the home where the previous paint layers were failing. We then fully re-caulked the home and painted it with premium Sherwin-Williams paints to provide a beautiful and lasting finish. We applied a third coat of paint (on top of the primer) on the badly weathered sides of the home to help improve the uniformity and texture of the home.
Special Challenges:
There were areas of significant weathering. We were able to repair badly weathered areas of the home by removing loose paint, caulking gaps and cracks in the siding, applying a peel bonding primer to stabilize the surfaces and applying a third coat of pain side of the home to improve the uniformity and texture of the finished look.
Special Techniques:
The project required the knowledge of professional painters to stabilize failing surfaces prior to prime painting and painting to achieve a beautiful lasting look.
