Meet Handsome Harry – CertaPro-Sponsored Sheriff’s Horse

CertaPro of Reno has sponsored one of the horses in the Douglas County Sheriff’s mounted posse. “The Posse serves in ceremonial rides, parades, and assists with crowd and traffic control, search and rescue, and any other function where the use of trained horses and riders may be requested by the Sheriff’s Department.”
Supporting both veterans through charitable causes and the local youth through scholarship opportunities, the Douglas County Sheriff’s mounted posse is a symbol of the principles that the community lives by. By sponsoring one of their horses, CertaPro has asserted that they are also committed to benefiting the community and upholding those principles in every way they can.
The horse that we have sponsored in named Handsome Harry, a four year old Mustang rescued from the Nevada Range.
