A “Warehouse Inside of a Warehouse” gets a Repainting
If you have ever ordered supplies for a business, large or small, you have probably heard of Uline. They are an extremely large supplier of office, shipping, and packaging materials. They boast a dozen large warehouses in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. One of these warehouses is in Reno and is a whopping 900,000 square feet in size.
Inside of this warehouse is a fire storage unit that is used to store materials that can act as accelerants when ignited. To avoid the possibility of a fire this unit can be sealed off from the rest of the warehouse in order to lower the risk of fire damage.
Given the scale of the building, the scale of this storage unit is massive as well. CertaPro won the contract to repaint it using DevFlex HP High-Performance Acrylic Enamel, a hydraulic lift to access the top, and a crew of four commercial painters to get every nook and cranny of the unit painted.
By sectioning off the area from the ceiling down to the floors in plastic sheeting, taping off the fire protection equipment, signage, roll-up doors, and electrical boxes, they were able to paint the entire structure neatly and in a contained manner.
