Painting a Casino to Add a Bit of Visual Interest – Commercial Painting Project
When a location in a chain of casino/restaurants decided to add a bit of style and interest to their location they called in the commercial painting professionals at CertaPro Painters of Reno NV. The goal was to add a decorative border to the top of what was then a two-tone building split horizontally between a gray top and pink lower section.
With a request to “paint circles” on the top of the building step one was to develop a stencil set that was the reverse of the circles themselves. This allowed for painting in the void space and with the removal of the curved diamond shaped stencils the circles would be revealed.
Below is how the building appeared before the painting began:
During the Project…
Using three painters and a 42 foot boom lift the stencils were applied making sure to work around the existing sign over the entrance to the building. Over the course of four days of prep, stencil application, and painting the project went from start to finish.
When the last stencil was removed…
The building took on a more festive and inviting look that was in keeping with the brand image of the company. The simple act of refreshing the look made it more eye-catching to foot and car traffic and made it more likely to catch the attention of people who had grown used to seeing it unchanged over the years.
