Project Lemonade: In Support of Foster Care Awareness Month

Join us in Supporting Oregon Youth Impacted by Foster Care!

May is Foster Care Awareness Month, and CertaPro Painters of Portland is teaming up with Project Lemonade to support Oregon’s youth in foster care. Join us on Wednesday, May 1 from 4 – 6 PM at The Sports Bra on NE Broadway in Portland! We are collecting new sports bras and other new athletic apparel, with a focus on sizes for teen girls, and gathering donations to support Project Lemonade on their mission to inspire self-esteem in foster youth so they can beat the odds.

We’ll provide light snacks, and The Sports Bra has generously offered to donate a percentage of proceeds from a signature cocktail to Project Lemonade during this event! Let’s raise a glass for The Sports Bra and Project Lemonade!

Participation in sports is known to improve mental and physical health, promote social connections, improve academic performance, and teach important life skills to kids. Help us facilitate foster youth participation in sports by donating items to Project Lemonade! Youth who come to Project Lemonade’s Lloyd Center store have the opportunity to shop, free of charge, for new items they choose.
