CertaPro Painters of Portland is proud to announce our new partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Oregon and SW Washington, officially joining as their trusted Painting Partner. This collaboration is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and making a meaningful impact where it matters most.

Painting with Purpose

At CertaPro Painters, we believe a fresh coat of paint does more than brighten walls—it brings warmth, comfort, and a sense of renewal. That’s why we’re honored to support RMHC in their mission to provide a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children receiving essential medical care. Through this partnership, we’ll help refresh and maintain RMHC facilities to ensure families feel welcomed and supported during difficult times.

This cause is especially close to the hearts of Mary and Dennis Hodge, franchise owners of CertaPro Painters of Portland, who know firsthand the importance of having a place to stay close to a hospitalized child.

“Fifteen years ago, our adopted daughter was born two months premature,” the Hodges shared. “We traveled out of state to meet her and wait for her release from the hospital. A like-minded organization gave us a place to stay near her, which allowed us to be fully involved in her care and treatment decisions. The Family Rooms had everything we needed—two queen beds, a bathroom, shower, toiletries, and food. Those accommodations, made possible by generous donations, gave us peace of mind during a very stressful time.”

Making a Difference, One Brushstroke at a Time

Our team is excited to contribute by donating painting services, volunteering our time, and working alongside RMHC staff and supporters to brighten the spaces where families find refuge. By enhancing the environments at RMHC’s houses, we hope to help make every stay more comfortable and uplifting for the families who need it most.

Looking ahead, CertaPro Painters will also be partnering with Andersen Construction on a remodel of the RMHC East House, located on the campus of Legacy Emanuel near Randall Children’s Hospital. This exciting project is scheduled for 2025.
