CertaPro Painters Work with Project Lemonade

In 2022, an estimated 6,000 youth in Oregon will spend time in foster care, an experience that can affect their entire lives. The statistics are stark: 32%will experience homeless, only 35% will finish high-school and only 4% of foster youth will graduate from college. Project Lemonade believes every child has a gift, and their mission is to inspire self-esteem and confidence to help foster youth thrive.
Celebrating 10-years in 2022, Project Lemonade wants to Paint the Town Yellow to support foster youth. CertaPro Painters will be helping Project Lemonade as they seek to serve 2,500 foster youth through the Project Lemonade free retail store, provide paid internships to build foster youth resumes and job skills and grant 250 foster youth WISHes.
Project Lemonade wants to change the stats and help foster youth turn lemons into lemonade.
