Description of Project: This is a 12,000 sf warehouse and showroom for Knapheide Truck Equipment located in the Portland Metro Area.

Project Condition: The building’s exterior hadn’t been painted in 10 years, resulting in many cracks and damage from trucks. Before painting, we meticulously repaired these issues. Matching the brand’s trademark color, “Knapheide Red,” was a top priority. So we reached out to a trusted Sherwin Williams employee. The rest of the process was smooth, thanks to our exceptional team’s understanding of commercial clients. The interior presented challenges when fixtures were removed, damaging the walls. Promptly addressing the issue, we adjusted the timeline for extensive drywall repairs and skim coating. Excellent communication among all parties ensured the project’s success. Despite the initial obstacles, our painters efficiently completed the job over a long weekend, allowing employees to return to a fresh interior without any disruption to their daily business.

Project Involvement: Painting interior and exterior, drywall repairs, color matching, masonry repair.

Special Challenges: We utilized lifts to reach the exterior surfaces while carefully coordinating with the customer to minimize disruptions to the daily activities of suppliers and customers.

Special Equipment:A boom lift and water trailer were used to reach the upper stories and pressure wash the building. Our crew is skilled at drywall repair and made the interior wall damage disappear.
