Hi, I’m Gwendolyn Kistler and I’m proud to be an addition to the team at CertaPro Painters of Portland.
I’m a ginger, an extrovert, an English major and a native to San Diego, California. I’ve been in Portland since 2013 and I now own a home here. I get to explore Oregon with my kiddo Maximilian, my husband Jamie and his mom Jackie. I love thrift store shopping, eating at food carts and going to the coast. Like any good Portlander.
I’ve always worked in customer service in one form or another, whether it was selling 1950s inspired dresses, providing interior and exterior paint color consultations, or in retail stores for Sherwin Williams.
I know how a great service experience can make someone’s day and, alternately, a disappointing one will ruin it. I thrive when I am meeting new people and making a daunting task seem more manageable (like painting their home or business). I can always help and almost always make them laugh a little too.
As a Commercial Sales Associate with CertaPro Painters of Portland I get to utilize my extensive knowledge of paint products and processes, along with my passion for people and commitment to customer service to take the “pain” out of “paint.” And that is something I feel good about.
