Northeast Portland Warehouse Interior
Northeast Portland Warehouse Interior
In March 2021, CertaPro Painters® of Portland, OR was hired by a local manufacturer of high-end audio equipment to paint their warehouse’s interior in Northeast Portland.
The Problem to be Solved:
The client initially painted the bottom seven feet of their walls gray and wanted us to handle the walls’ upper portion. Typically, we would spray walls of this size, but that wasn’t possible due to the valuable equipment in the space and the amount of dust it would generate. Although the warehouse’s drywall was in good condition, a water leak resulted in staining on some of the concrete tilt-up walls, so we had to take care of that as well.
Additionally, we needed to work around the customer’s equipment, fixed racking systems, and the supports for suspended ceilings over office built-outs. We also had to complete the work without disruption since their employees were still working while we painted.
Problem Solver Solution:
Through careful daily coordination and communication, we efficiently completed the project while minimizing disruption to the customer’s business. We used an 18” roller and extension poles to maximize coverage on larger expanses of wall and a smaller scissor lift to navigate small areas. Our equipment allowed us to easily access all walls in the facility.
Final Result:
We were able to complete the project in two weeks. The white paint we used on the upper section of the warehouse walls brightened up the space, resulting in a fresh, clean look. Most importantly, the customer said they didn’t even notice us while we were working!
