Exterior Painting of Stew Leonard’s Shopping Center in East Meadow, NY

Project: Stew Leonard’s Shopping Plaza in East Meadow, NY reached out to us for help reviving the exterior of their buildings which involved power washing, repairing stucco, filling joints, and painting the exterior a new color scheme.

Process: The shopping center, showing signs of aging and wear, urgently needed a facelift due to years of wear and tear, making it rundown and dirty. Acknowledging the complexity of the project, our team implemented a comprehensive plan to breathe new life into the entire space. We started by thoroughly cleaning surfaces to remove accumulated dirt and grime, followed by repairing stucco and filling joints for structural enhancement and a polished finish. Once all areas were cleaned and prepped, our crew applied a fresh coat of paint to all surfaces, giving the shopping center a full-color makeover. Boom lifts and scissor lifts were used to access elevated and hard-to-reach areas, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the project. To minimize disruptions at the very busy shopping center, our team started work at 5:00 am, focusing on high-traffic areas before store openings to prioritize the safety and experience for patrons.

The project began in September 2023 and despite the challenges posed by the size of the shopping center and the need to navigate around patrons, our dedicated team of commercial painters successfully completed the project within the scheduled four-week timeframe. The result was a transformed Stew Leonard’s Shopping Plaza, now boasting a refreshed and aesthetically pleasing new look.
