Over the past few years, CertaPro Painters® of Phoenix has repaired and repainted hundreds of residential homes in the greater Phoenix area. For this project CertaPro Painters® of Phoenix was contacted in November 2021 to complete a residential project in Phoenix. The home was in dire need of stucco repairs. The paint was fading and the walls had visible damage. The entry gate showed wear and needed painting as well. The project involved painting, primer, and extensive stucco repairs.
Before the Work Began
As you can see, the home needed a major makeover. The stucco was blotchy and faded with cracks and chips throughout. The entry gate was faded and just added to the neglected look.
During the Repair and Repainting Work…
As you can see below areas were protected prior to painting to avoid any overspray issues, stucco was patched, cracks filled and all surfaces were prepared for a protective layer of paint.
The Prep Work Begins with Protection
Before getting started, our expert painters always ensure to cover anything that isn't being worked on. This protects from potential paint splatters that can come along in any painting project. We protect the surrounding area from drips and overspray. Here we’ve used plastic to protect items on the sidewalk. We’ve also installed protective plastic around the entire area to protect the tile work.
Stucco Repairs are Made to Cracked Areas
Patching of large areas that were cracked ensures a good surface for the painting to come. This wall required substantial repairs to the stucco. This photo shows repairs to the scratch and finish coats before repainting.
After the Prep and Painting Were Finished
When the project was complete, CertaPro Painters® of Phoenix had transformed the property from one with that was faded, blotchy and damaged to one that practically glows with renewed curb appeal and a modern color scheme.
