New Ownership, Same Trusted Team at CertaPro Painters® of the Okanagan
CertaPro Painters® of the Okanagan is pleased to announce that long-time team member and partner, Ian Merner, has officially taken on the role of Owner. This marks an important milestone for our organization and reflects the continued growth and strength of our local painting team throughout the Okanagan region.
Ian has been an essential part of CertaPro Painters of the Okanagan since 2006. Prior to becoming Owner, he served as Sales Manager and Partner, playing a key role in customer service, project development, and overall business strategy. His painting industry experience began in 1994, and his knowledge spans residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Ian also holds a Bachelor of Economics with a Business option from the University of Victoria, which has supported his commitment to quality, service, and professionalism.
Throughout his career, Ian has built a reputation for listening carefully to customers, maintaining strong communication, and delivering on the promises made at every stage of the painting process. He remains dedicated to staying current with the latest coatings, materials, and application methods, ensuring that our team can confidently manage projects of all sizes and complexities.
As Owner, Ian will continue to strengthen our customer-focused approach and uphold the standards that have made CertaPro Painters® of the Okanagan a trusted name throughout Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and the surrounding communities.
