Meet Michael – A Man Truly Living His Dream
Michael Fetch has been drawn to Ocala. Originally from York, PA, he moved here in 2007, then spent a few years in Arizona, only to return, and has now spend the last seven years in Ocala.
Though Michael has known many homes, there has always been one constant within him: a good work ethic and can-do spirit. As a kid, he would shovel snow, mow lawns, and deliver newspapers. In high school, he worked at a local fast food restaurant. While attending York College of Pennsylvania obtaining a marketing degree, he worked at Lowe’s. After college, he entered the custom closet industry, and stayed for 22 years, through various positions in sales and operations. Through all this time, he always dreamed of owning his own business.
That dream came true in 2019.

Success is a Lifestyle, and Even a Painter’s House Needs Painting
If you want to know how Michael evaluates the success of this business, he would tell you it’s by the satisfaction of his customers. There is nothing more rewarding than having a previous customer refer a friend. Michael works every day to make sure that not only is he successful, but that his employees are happy, and his customers feel that they received the best possible service. That is even more amplified now that his customers are his neighbors, and a job well done means a beautification of his community.
If asked what his favorite thing about being a CertaPro painter is, Michael will tell you:
I love seeing what the next up-and-coming design trend and paint colors are. I love interacting with people and helping bring their design concepts to life. It’s amazing what a coat of paint will do to a room or home. I can change your feelings and mood as soon as you walk into a space. That’s exciting to me.
The work never stops for Michael. He recently painted his house Bugalow Beige. It is a color in the “greige (Grey+Beige)” family. It matches beautifully with both white and/or black as well as light and dark stained woods. It is a very neutral color, to say the least, but once you add some color, the paint really pops and makes a statement. It’s small details like that and a vast knowledge of the interior and exterior design world that makes Michael a premier painting choice.
If you ask Michael what part of the house he likes to paint the most, the answer will likely surprise you. He likes to pain the garage, because he believes it is an overlooked and under-utilized space. The garage is typically the dirtiest part of the house, therefore a fresh coat of paint can make a big impact.
Swing By for Some BBQ
As an entrepreneur, Michael is very busy. He has his hand in every piece of the business to make sure it runs smoothly. So on the weekends, he likes to relax by indulging in one of his many hobbies. Michael enjoys being out on the open water and spending the day fishing. He is also no stranger to the kitchen. Michael like to cook, BBQ, and smoke meat. If you’re a friend of Michael’s, you’re likely in for a good meal. If Michael wants to unwind and unplug, he spends time gardening and doing yard work. As evidenced by his entire career, from boyhood shoveling to business owner, he feels a great sense of relaxation when accomplishing something.
