Description of Project:
A Residential home in Newport Beach, CA, with a stucco finish. The customer wanted to move away from the multi-color finish and paint the home in solid colors.
The home’s original finish had never been painted, and there were cracks throughout the stucco finish. The cracks were patched with a concrete smoothing compound before sanding to create a smooth finish. A coat of masonry primer was applied to the entire home to promote adhesion before finishing the project with two coats of paint.
There was evidence of decay on the wooden garage doors. Wood filler was used in the damaged areas before the doors were sanded, primed, and painted.
Wrought-iron railings on the property showed signs of rust in some areas. These areas were wire-brushed before being primed and painted as well.
