Neighborhood Color Refresh for Orange County HOA

54-Unit Townhome Complex Repaint

In April 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Orange County completed a large-scale exterior repaint for an HOA community in Orange, California, consisting of 54 individual townhomes across eight buildings.

Originally built in 1984, the buildings were in good structural condition but had begun to show signs of aging and sun exposure. The HOA board wanted to preserve the property’s clean appearance while refreshing the color palette and addressing minor carpentry needs.

Over the course of six weeks, our crew carefully repainted the community’s exteriors to match the original scheme, restoring consistency and visual appeal throughout the neighborhood. Take a look at the transformation in this case study.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

The project included painting all exterior surfaces such as fascia, trim, eaves, window frames, chimneys, wood siding, vehicle gates, and wrought iron fencing. In addition, the crew performed light carpentry repairs where needed to ensure a smooth and lasting finish before painting.

Each of the eight buildings—averaging six to seven units per structure—was completed on a coordinated schedule to minimize disruption for residents. The team used high-quality materials and professional techniques to achieve a durable, uniform result across all 54 homes.

CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:

The primary challenge for this project was scheduling and coordination with individual tenants while maintaining progress across multiple buildings. By organizing painting schedules building by building and maintaining open communication with the HOA board and residents, our team ensured efficient workflow and minimal inconvenience.

The team’s experience with multi-unit communities allowed the work to be completed safely, efficiently, and to the HOA’s full satisfaction.
