The objective of the project was to refresh the interior, improve durability in high-traffic areas, and restore a clean, professional appearance – all while minimizing disruption to occupants and ongoing business activities.

Project Overview
INITIAL CONDITION:
Before work began, the interior walls showed clear signs of long-term use, including scuff marks, discoloration, fading, and uneven colour coverage. The space had not been repainted in approximately 15 years, resulting in a tired and dated appearance that no longer met modern commercial standards. A full professional repaint was needed to restore consistency, cleanliness, and visual appeal throughout the facility.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:
One of the primary challenges of this project was working within an active commercial environment. Careful planning, sequencing, and surface protection were essential to maintaining a safe and professional workspace at all times.
To minimize disruption, the project was completed using a combination of weekend and daytime work. Weekend painting was performed in two extended shifts running from 8:00 AM to 4:00 AM, while week day work was coordinated closely with on-site operations to reduce impact on daily activities. This flexible scheduling approach allowed the project to progress efficiently without interfering with business continuity.
MATERIALS & EXECUTION:
To ensure long-lasting performance in a high-traffic setting, Sherwin-Williams Scuff-Tuff commercial-grade interior paint was selected for its durability and cleanability.
