Enstrom Helicopter Facility - Case Study
CertaPro Painters® of NE Wisconsin
Enstrom Helicopter Manufacturing Facility Project
CertaPro Painters® of NE Wisconsin recently undertook a remarkable case study, showcasing their expertise in enhancing industrial spaces with a project at the Enstrom Helicopter manufacturing facility in Menominee, MI. Focused on revitalizing the 100,000 square-foot facility, the challenge was to apply new floor coatings within a tight timeframe. Over the course of just three days, the CertaPro team demonstrated their efficiency and precision in transforming the manufacturing space. The manufacturing and office floors had been previously painted. The existing coating was failing.
The final results were nothing short of spectacular, with the newly applied floor coatings not only providing a visually appealing upgrade but also enhancing the functionality and durability of the floors. CertaPro’s commitment to quality and timely execution shines through in this case study, reaffirming their reputation as a trusted partner for commercial and industrial painting projects.
The CertaPro Painters’ project at the Enstrom Helicopter manufacturing facility involved a comprehensive process to ensure the highest quality and durability of the newly applied floor coatings.
- The existing floor coating was ground off using PCD coating removal tooling.
- The edges of the facility were hand ground.
- A base coat of Citadel PLE-100 Epoxy was applied
- Applied line striping to customer specification
- Top-coated with Poly 1-HD Clear Coat with a High-Wear Additive
