Basement Movie Room Conversions in Green Bay

Convert your basement into a movie-theater room
This year we helped with a few basement conversion projects with the goal of converting an outdated, and often unused basement room into a highlight of the home. Projects like these usually involve more than just a painting company, so keep in mind our services do not include electrical work or setting up projector equipment. We can however help ready the room for an optimal movie viewing experience by painting the walls and ceilings, updating trim, and other details that help bring the theater room to life.

A dark basement ceiling makes a huge difference in the look and feel of a movie room, in most other residential applications a black ceiling may look odd or out of place, but for purpose made movie rooms it works extremely well.
Prepping the room to paint the ceiling black
To prep for this we first mask of the entire room to prevent any black paint from getting on the floors, walls or furniture. Notice this basement had an otherwise unfinished ceiling that took away from the look and feel of the room. The plan will be to paint all of the ceiling with a durable black paint that diminished the unfinished look and does not reflect light from the projector in the room.
Once the room is safely protected and masked off, our crew suits up and uses stilts to keep close proximity to the surface while using a paint spraying machine. Even at the half way point, the room is starting to transform into a much more convincing movie room environment.
Once the spraying is completed, the crew will remove all the tarps and masked areas. Light touching up work is done at this stage, and the ceiling prep is completed.
