Hearthstone Historic Museum in Appleton, WI

The Hearthstone Historic House Museum is a historic home in Appleton, Wisconsin, United States that has been converted into a museum. CertaPro Painters® of NE Wisconsin was contracted to help with repairs to the front porch area, which was in need of carpentry work and painting.

The museum worked with Fox Valley Technical college to have custom pieces milled, i.e., tongue and groove floor boards, bases of large ornate posts and stairs recreated. Also, large curved beams we created by the school.

CertaPro Painters rebuilt the front porch staircases to match other 130 year old stairs on the building. To repairs the ornate posts the front porch ceiling was jacked up to replace the bottom portion of the posts. Tongues and groove boards on the porch floor were removed/replaced. Then everything was repainted to customer match the original paint scheme.
