McDonald’s Refresh – Exterior Painting Service
Our team recently painted the exterior of a McDonald’s restaurant (Denmark, WI.) This is an extremely busy location right off Highway 43. The building is a 4500 sq. ft EIFS 1 story structure. We started this painting project in June of 2020 and it took us 7 days to complete. You can learn more details about this commercial painting service below.
About the Project
Condition of Facility:
The EIFS exterior of the building was severely faded. It was past due for an upgrade to the brand standard colors for McDonalds.
Project Involvement:
The building was power-washed and caulking was completed around windows and doors. Everything not being painted was masked off and protected. We painted the EIFS, doors, door frames and light posts on the property
Special Challenges:
The drive-thru on the restaurant is extremely busy given the proximity to the highway. It is a major source of revenue for the restaurant. In order to minimize downtime and impact to revenue, we worked with the franchise owner and store manager to coordinate painting the drive-thru side of the building. The crew painted that side of the building starting at 3:00 a.m. LED lighting was used to illuminate the work area at that time.
Special Equipment:
A 25 ft. electric scissor lift was used to paint the building
