THE MARKETPLACE IN STURGEON BAY, WI
In September and November of 2020 our team worked with Bayland Builders (General Contractor) on the renovation of an old Younkers department store. The renovated space will become a revitalized retail space in Sturgeon Bay. For the project were were contracted to paint the exterior as well as all of the interior. The project was on a tight production timeline and ran for about two months. With multiple contractors handling various parts of the renovation, careful coordination with other contractors was important.
The exterior of the building had high walls and required a 40ft all-terrain articulating lift to reach and paint all of the surfaces. The exterior brick, fascia, doors and door frames were all painted as part of the project.
Pictured to the right is a photo after the project completion and the store opened. The Marketplace is a home accessories store with a modern and bright interior, they opened for business on November 21, 2020.
BEFORE PHOTOS
Before we started with painting, our commercial project estimator visited the property to take some measurements and take some pictures of the condition of the surfaces that needed painting.
