Storage Tank Painting in NE Wisconsin
Garrow Oil & Propane in Appleton, WI has been a fuel supplier in Wisconsin for more than 50 years. Their property had 27 vertical and horizontal storage tanks in need of exterior surface maintenance. This was a big project that involved power washing the tanks with Tri-Sodium Phosphate to remove dirt and mildew, grinding and sanding the surface to remove rust, collecting and properly disposing of debris, and the application of 2 coats of ProIndustrial Alkyd Enamel Urethane/Semi-Gloss (Extra White) paint. In addition to the tanks them selves, the fuel lines were given similar treatment but in a safety red colored finish.
Before Pictures
Before the project began we surveyed the tanks, took some pictures, and prepared an estimate. Here you can see a few pictures of the state of the fuel tank exteriors.
After Pictures
After the project was completed we took photos of the restored tanks and fuel lines. The tanks look brand new again and have layers of protection against the elements and rust formation.

Fuel Line Painting & Maintenance
The saftey red color provides great visibility to the lines running in and out of the tanks. All rust has been removed and the life of the lines has been extended.
