Condo Painting Project Case Study

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
This historic building was a block from Harvard Square. It was an old property in tough condition that had
been converted to condos years back. The siding had massive fading and the old trims were peeling and
cracking significantly. The property also had many old windows with failed glazing.

The project involved the heavy prep and re-painting of the entire building in the same historical navy blue.

CHALLENGES:
We had to work along side carpenters, which was achieved through ongoing communication from both
companies. We also had a busy sidewalk on the left side of the property that had to be sectioned off in
order to work on that part of the structure. Lastly, the property abutted another housing facility behind and
we had to be mindful of their landscape and space.

PROJECT TIMELINE
Starting in August 2024, the project was completed in 2 weeks.

THE FINAL RESULTS
A fresh blue color for the historic building.
