Annunciation Church
Church Painting Case Study
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Our team was hired to waterproof the split-face block exterior of a church and to paint its two connecting daycare buildings that were aluminum sided. We also painted 18 interior and exterior metal doors.
This project required extensive prep work on the exterior doors that suffered from major rust issues. We made sure to use the right primer to seal the rust and an industrial metal enamel to protect it from the elements.
Prior to painting the daycare building, we applied an industrial-grade direct-to-metal product to achieve a large color change and to protect the substrate. We also applied a specialized water sealer called Conflex Siloxane which was highly recommended by Sherwin Williams.
CHALLENGES:
This project required us to work around church personnel. When it came to painting the daycare we were able to work around recess and pick up time for the children through ongoing communication with the facility manager.
PROJECT TIMELINE
We completed the project in 1 week.
THE FINAL RESULTS
The client loved the refreshed exterior that is sure to last for years to come!
