WestRock Industrial Facility Interior Painting Project
WestRock is a leader in sustainable paper based packaging providing everything from corrugated boxes and consumer packaging to automated machinery and specialty printing for various industries. They have many facilities throughout the united states and work on a large scale commercial/industrial level at each facility. This particular facility is located in Gallatin, Tennessee just outside of Nashville.
About the Project
Condition of Facility:
The previous crosswalks and line striping areas were not where or what they needed to be at all. The condition of the paint used was poor as well as the prep work prior to installation. Our team used diamond grinding blades to remove any existing coatings and staining from the concrete as well as prep for the new coatings. They patched all of the large holes and cracks throughout the work areas, and applied multiple layers of white, black, and yellow to create the crosswalk designs that our customer required. Not only did the project come out aesthetically pleasing but it will also last due to the use of quality products and correct preparation.

Concrete Grinding, line striping, MMA, concrete coatings, cross hatching, epoxy, urethane
Special Challenges:
Keeping the coatings from bleeding out of the tape as well as measuring each line a minimum of two times to assure all of the safety striping and cross hatching stay consistent throughout the factory is important.

walk behind concrete grinder, 5″ edge grinders. filtered vacuums
