Renovating the Larkins Music Center

The Larkins Music Center is the home of both the Mobile Symphony and the Mobile Opera and is located in the central entertainment district of Downtown Mobile. Recently our team of experienced painting contractors had the opportunity to assist with renovating this beautiful Historic space. About the Project

When we arrived at the Larkins Music Center, this older historic building had faded walls and rusting balconies and stairwells. Through our professional painting services, we were able to restore the facility and bring new life to its exterior spaces. The property owners were thrilled with our results as well.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:

The project involved extensive metal and surface preparation before we could begin fully painting. The location of Larkins Music Center is on a highly trafficked street, so timing was critical in terms of sidewalk closures, surface grinding, etc.

SPECIAL CHALLENGES

As previously mentioned, Larkins Music Center is located at an incredibly busy location in Mobile with both foot and motorized traffic to watch out for. Our work hours were adjusted to address public facing areas early before pedestrian traffic got more congested.

 PROJECT TIMELINE

The project was completed in just 10 days.
